{"id":12,"date":"2017-03-10T01:09:59","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T01:09:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tribemusic.com.au\/?page_id=12"},"modified":"2017-08-08T03:28:08","modified_gmt":"2017-08-08T03:28:08","slug":"more-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tribemusic.com.au\/wordpress\/more-info\/","title":{"rendered":"More Info"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ages and playing levels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beginner to Advanced<\/p>\n<p>Secondary School Student Years 7 \u2013 12 (weekly class)<\/p>\n<p>Primary school Students Grade 6 (school holiday program)<\/p>\n<p>TRIBE takes into consideration the age and playing level of each individual so that similar ages and abilities are grouped together<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When and where<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Classes run Monday to Friday from 4pm<\/p>\n<p>You will be allocated the same class day and time each week<\/p>\n<p>The program does not operate during school holidays unless participating in the Primary School Holiday Program<\/p>\n<p>TRIBE has exclusive access to the Oxygen College and don\u2019t Poke the BEAR recording studio on Gordon Avenue, Geelong West<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Music lessons<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a requirement that beginner TRIBE members have weekly private lessons with an experienced music teacher<\/p>\n<p>Although it is not a requirement it is highly recommended that intermediate members are engaged with a music teacher<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Details about learning and development outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In each weekly rehearsal, topics below (in no particular order) will be integrated either formally or informally into the session<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diverse genres of music application<\/li>\n<li>Creation of adaptations of music<\/li>\n<li>Deepen understanding of musical context<\/li>\n<li>Contextualize individual instrument application<\/li>\n<li>Individual direction of musical application<\/li>\n<li>Deepen understanding of individual roles<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of music key selection process<\/li>\n<li>Application of rehearsal \u201cbest practice model&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic control and volume control<\/li>\n<li>Self managing rehearsal setups<\/li>\n<li>Self managing performance setups<\/li>\n<li>Develop Stagecraft skills<\/li>\n<li>Development artistic negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Development team communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Creation of original music<\/li>\n<li>Developing Music industry knowledge base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: the above topics are not exhaustive and are intended as an indicator of typical topics covered<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tribe School Holiday Program <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For primary school students in Grade 6<\/p>\n<p>Aimed as a taster program for weekly program. Students will be put into groups\u00a0and experience what it feels like to be part of a band<\/p>\n<p>Utilising a world-class facility including rehearsal rooms, live space, recording studios and equipment, those who participate will relish in the experience<\/p>\n<p>There is no audition required but students will need to learn the allocated song in preparation for the holiday program.
